Granite blocks are cut from the quarries using the modern techniques, avoiding hairline cracks which are formed in the blocks when quarried by dynamite method. These cracks can appear on the granite during expansion after on-site installation is completed.  With Agra granite slabs and countertops, this too is avoided.
